Harriet

05 October 2016

Harriet has arthritis in several joints and has two total knee replacements, and also had two discs in her neck replaced.  Harriet was diagnosed with COPD in 2015 after struggling to get over a serious bout of flu.

When Harriet was diagnosed with COPD, she attended a pulmonary rehab course at Pendle Community Hospital and the physio there suggested the Feelgood Factory as a suitable option as she was struggling to walk or do any other physical activity.

Harriet started attending the Feelgood Factory three times a week in 2015 and has found that it has helped her to improve her walking, enabling her to tackle inclines.  Her COPD, which was originally categorised as severe, is now moderate.
