Why not get more out of your daily outdoor exercise by taking up running? If you've not run in ages, or never run at all, then we would recommend the Couch 2 5k. You don't need any special equipment, just a pair of trainers, and by following the programme 3 times a week for 9 weeks, you'll be able to run 5k. There's no better time to give this a go, we'd recommend downloading an app to you smartphone if you can as you can take it out with you to help time your runs and walks.
