Cycling Launches in Burnley

24 April 2017

If you want to get into cycling, but don't know where to start, then come along to our Cycle Launch on 14 May 2017.

The launch is to be held at The Prairie Sports Village, Windermere Avenue, Burnley. BB10 2FU from 10.30am to 12.30pm.

The day will be filled with fun and activities, there are demonstrations from lots of organisations, free security frame marking for bikes, free bike maintenance checks by local cycle shops and an organised ride for anyone who brings their bike along to the event.

Do you have trouble walking, then come cycling, don’t miss out, the countryside is for everyone, sessions paced at the least able of the group.

Cycling is an excellent aerobic workout, tone those thighs, posteriors and help keep cellulite at bay whilst having some fun. And all for free. Cycling is easy on the joints and for people who have foot or ankle issues’; cycling is a non-weight bearing exercise, so no sore feet or ankles at the end of the session.

We’re friendly groups, who welcome everyone, so don’t be afraid to turn up on your own. Come and get a little fitter whilst having some old fashioned fun.

Fancy becoming a cycling volunteer who’d look after the bikes/equipment and/or support riders in the group?
