Couch 2 5k Runs Again!

Trawden Athletics Club are running another Couch 2 5k course for everyone who wants to take up running in 2018.

The Couch to 5K plan is designed to get you off the couch and gradually work you up to running 5K in just nine weeks.

Probably the biggest challenge a novice runner faces is not knowing how or where to start. Couch to 5K works because it starts with a mix of running and walking, gradually building up your fitness and stamina slowly, therefore creating realistic expectations and making the challenge feel achievable from day one.

This challenge is for everyone, whether you’ve never run before or if you want to get back into being more active.

Now Starting on Tuesday 16 January there will be three 30 minute sessions a week - Tuesday and Thursday 7.15pm at Seedhill track in Nelson and Saturday at 10am at Holt House in Colne. Participants can come to all three, or as many as they can make in the week.  Click here to download a flyer.
